Just purchased an outdoor garden pergola from Orscheln's Charlestown, Ind., store. The customer service was great! Mardi, the assistant manager, went out of her way to help me. I felt as though I were buying something from a family-owned business rather than a big-box store.
Wide variety of merchandise.
When they have what you need, they are great to deal with. To bad the inventory is old, outdated or simply not reordered. Stopped in the other day for a garden hose replacement end. Was told it was a seasonal item and it wasn't reordered so they could make room for Christmas displays. What kind of FARM store doesn't stock the basic farm supplies, like hose ends or repair kits. Used to be a decent store but lately management, or lack of, has turned it into a joke
