Lived here for 3 years. Leasing could never get what they wanted to charge us monthly correct. Cathy was the only saving grace of this place. Very disappointed after suffering months of harrasment and having to live under threats when the issue was Another apt, it was continually blamed on us. Even when we we where gone on vacation.
Apartment was quiet. Other than that, Lisa and management gave the wrong information, pricing, availability, dates MULTIPLE times. They took my deposit and signed a lease on an apartment that had ALREADY been rented out. Pushed back move-in dates at LEAST 3 times for cleaning/carpet/tenant still living in the apartment. It was very disorganized, but I was desperate to find an apartment at the time. Otherwise, I would have gone somewhere else. I spoke to Lisa in the office when I needed to move out. I gave plenty of notice within the time-frame of the agreement. I subsequently emailed a written intent to vacate a day or two past the "cut off" date, then she said SORRY, she couldn't do anything about that and she doesn't recall me telling her I was moving out. When I did move out, they claimed that I did not return my keys or pool pass, etc. I KNEW they would say that, so I took pictures of everything along with the envelope in which it was returned. My lawyer also sent them a certified letter, which they denied receiving. DO NOT TRUST A THING THEY SAY OR DO. GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING.
Showers drain extremely slow and on site laundry is an absolute joke the only way to get your clothes dry is with extremely small loads with utilities were over $1300 this place is way over priced to have any issues
The water was continually filled with Black sediment and what a pain to clean. Tarnished silver instantly and caustic rust stains in toilets which they seemed shocked to hear about.
I find during my time the staff was rude, bully and disrespectful..
I am new to Indiana , Worst place ever. Don't ever let maintenance or anyone into your place without you being present because they will take pictures of your personal things. The maintenance man and the office staff took Pictures of my friend who was visiting me rabbit. They also takes forever to come fix anything. And if you are a person of color don't even try going to this place..
Brown capital will also pencil whip your deposit and they don't know how to add or subtract.
Very surprised by some of these reviews. All I can say is, it is a great place to live. The rules are very well explained when you are moving in, unfortunately it's hard for some people to follow rules. Which is one reason for a five star review, the rules are enforced. If you're looking for an apartment that feels more like a home, this is your place. The units are spacious, and still have a very new feeling. The grounds are well kept, snow removal service in the winter is an added bonus, along with sitting off the highway, keeping noise to a minimum, and allowing for a nice place to have evening walks. There aren't people coming and going at all hours of the night, the patios/decks are great for added personal space if you like to sit outside. Over the course of a year, I've only had one issue, a small air conditioning hiccup, that of course happened in the late evening hours and was quickly remedied the next day. Cathy is very personable and one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Rent may be a little on the high side, however, you do get what you pay for here.
